USING THE GRADED TUNE LISTING TOOL:

The primary function of this search engine is to list good four-part tunes of an approximate relative difficulty level suitable for use in solo competitions.

Select one or more types of tune, and one or more difficulty levels. Then select the music collections you own or are willing to purchase from the list. You can select more than one book at a time by pressing the 'Ctrl' key and holding it down while you click several collections, or you can drag vertically across several collection names. Finally, click the "Submit Query" button.

You can also find ALL Tunes for a DIFFICULTY level and or music TYPE by selecting the appropriate boxes and NOT selecting a Book. Then click the "Submit Query" button.

All the graded tunes that meet the criterion you selected will appear in a list and may be printed with your browser's "Print" button.

If no tune names appear, then the music collections you selected contain no graded tunes meeting the criteria you checked.

A secondary function of the search engine is to locate a book containing a particular graded tune.

First click the "Clear Form" button. Then type the tune's name into the "Tune" edit box and click the "Submit Query" button, and the book(s) containing the tune will appear if it is in the list of graded tunes. If you click the "Show All Books" button, the names of the books from which tunes have been drawn will be displayed in a form that can be viewed more conveniently than the list in the selectable list box on the query page. Other books will be added with time.

If no tune names appear, then the music collections you selected contain no graded tunes meeting the criteria you entered.
